Do The Next Right Thing

How To Get Unstuck In Life and Leadership

Sometimes I get STUCK as a leader.

Does that happen to you?

My cup runs dry.

Feels like I have no vision or insight.

And even the "easy" stuff feels hard.

Like my feet are lead and my hands are wood.

In those moments I default to something I heard in the Disney movie Frozen...

"Do the next right thing."

Most of the time we know at least 1-3 good things we could do on a given day or in a given situation.

Sometimes we've avoided them because they're hard or complex.

But we know we need to do it.

Maybe you need to develop a sermon series?

Or read that book you assigned your leadership team?

Make that call you've had on your list?

Or maybe it's as simple as reading your Bible reading plan?

What I've found is that when I simply "do the next right thing" it gets me unstuck and moving forward.

Simple but effective...

Why overcomplicate it?

If you need some help identifying the next right thing for your church check out this list...

I recently put together a list of 20 Ways To Grow Your Church.

These are smart, practical strategies you can use to get traction in your leadership.

If even one of these strategies works for you you'll be way ahead!
