Firing Up The Ol' VCR

If you remember VCRs you're as old as me!

haha

But it actually stands for something that I'll share with you in just a minute.

Just wrapped up the weekly coaching call with a great group of pastors!

And there's one thing we all have in common.

Pastors are busy and have to make a TON of decisions.

Which creates some issues.

First, decision fatigue...it's real and it stinks!

Do you end up making 100 tiny decisions per day?

If so you're probably running low and experiencing decision fatigue.

Second, a lack of traction.

Doing too many things and making too many micro decisions keeps you in the shallow end of the pool when you should be in the deep end!

Making BIG, impactful decisions.

Third, wasted time, energy, and money on the wrong decisions.

When you don't have a decision making framework you end up choosing wrong more often than not.

And doing things that take you off course.

But when you use the VCR framework that all changes.

VCR stands for...

Vision - Culture - Relationship.

These are the three lenses I view every decision through.

And it massively simplifies my process for making decisions!

And helps me make better ones than I might otherwise make.

The VCR is one tool in our toolbox for pastors to help them level up as leaders and see their church grow!
