Letter From A Stranger
Within Five-Minutes Of Your Church
Dear Pastor,
I’m writing to you because I need your help. I’ve been feeling very lonely and hopeless lately. I don’t have any friends or family to talk to, and I struggle with depression and anxiety. I‘ve lost my faith in God and myself. I wake up every day feeling like a failure.
I’ve seen your church a few times and I’ve even listened to one of your sermons online. It touched my heart and made me want to know more. I wonder if you’d be willing to invite me to your church and help me find a place where I belong? I need a community that can support me and show me God's love.
I’m sorry to bother you with this request, but I don't know where else to turn to. I’m too scared to walk into your church by myself, because I don't know anyone there and I don't know how they would react to me. I don't want to be judged or rejected. I just want to be accepted and welcomed.
Please, pastor, can you help me? Can you invite me to your church and introduce me to some people?
Thank you for reading this note. I hope to hear from you soon.
Sincerely,
Anonymous
Did you know 8/10 people say they would attend a church service if someone invited them?
People are lonely and hurting.
We act like it’s so hard to reach people but then give it little to no effort.
What if I told you that the #1 thing you can do to see your church reach more people and grow this year is simply to learn how to invite?
We use super simple 30 second invite videos on Facebook and Instagram and see guests every single Sunday. And I want to teach you how to do it!
Be an inviter,
Pastor Jake
