Overcoming "Growth" Guilt
Over the past few years I've spoken with hundreds of pastors about church growth.
Almost every pastor wants to reach more people and grow.
And it's not because of ego or comparison to other churches.
Most pastors have a heart for people to know Jesus!
Which is 100% the right motivation.
So, here's the thing.
Don't let anyone shame you for wanting to see growth!
Of course, we must check our heart and motivation.
That's a given.
But it's God's heart for His kids to come to Jesus.
And that's what we're all about, isn't it?
With that in mind, let's talk about healthy growth.
In New Testament times the apostles traveled all around the Roman world to spread the Gospel using the transportation network and technology of their time.
They leveraged the tools and technology available to them.
In our day and age we should do the same!
Which is why a few years ago we started using simple, low-cost Facebook ads to invite people to church.
From that decision came thousands of visitors and hundreds of decisions for Christ.
We've seen so many lives changed because we chose to use the tools available to us to invite people to church and share Jesus.
Over the years, pastors asked me to help them do the exact same thing so I put our strategies and techniques into a simple video course called the Facebook Invitation System which you can learn more about right here.
Let's make a difference,
- Pastor Jake
