Run To The Funk

How to handle tough stuff with grace!

Do you know what to do when things get tough, dysfunctional, or awkward?

Run to the funk.

"Run to the funk" is a classic line from my Dad.

And it applies everywhere in life.

Most people are afraid of conflict or tough conversations but that's where the real breakthroughs are found.

As a leader when you see a red flag in a team member or in the culture of your church you need to RTTF.

That's right, "Run to the funk."

Don't hide.

Don't avoid it.

Don't procrastinate.

Don't wait for someone else.

Deal with it.

Run to it and use that conflict/confrontation to bring change.

I can't overstate how important this is!

As a leader I believe my primary roles are to cast vision and create culture.

That means when someone or something starts messing with the vision or culture I need to get involved.

Sooner rather than later.

Run to the funk.

Start using that and I guarantee you and your team will grow.

Your church will get better.

Because the funk will get dealt with.

And on that note.

I'm going to run to some funk today.

Most pastors don't practice what they preach.

They preach outreach, evangelism, and a heart for lost people and then neglect one of the single greatest tools on planet earth...

Simple 30 second Facebook/Instagram invite ads.

You can invite your WHOLE city to church in the next 30-60 minutes.

Why not do it?

I'm a big fan of using simple Facebook™ invite ads to invite people to church on a regular basis.

It doesn't automatically equal growth...

But you don't catch fish without getting your lines in the water, right?

So it's a key thing for pastors and churches to do.

That's what I teach in the Facebook Invitation System course.

How to get a simple invitation that you can use to constantly invite people to church...it's powerful...

Get funky,

Pastor Jake
