The Best Change You Can Make As A Leader

If you've followed me for more than a minute you'll know I'm a HUGE advocate of using paid ads, Big Days, mailers, TV, radio, social media, and anything else you can to invite more people to church.

The research is clear...

Invite more people and you'll get more visitors.

But today we'll go a different direction.

Because there's actually one big change you can make that is more powerful than all the ads, campaigns, and strategies in the world...

And when you make this one simple change it will impact everything else you do as a leader...

How you think...

How you lead your team...

How you cast vision...

How you preach...

So what is it?

It's believing: YOU CAN.

Alright, you might have missed those two little words.

But they have the power to change your life and leadership.

You can.

You can do it.

You can grow.

You can make a difference.

You can see your church fulfill everything God has called you to do!

You can.

Those two words contain the power to change your world and by extension...change the world.

You can.

You have permission to be the best leader you possibly can be.

You can win.

You can succeed.

Am I getting through to you?

"Knock, knock"

"Who's there?"

"You can."

You can, who?"

"You can...YOU!"

What if you believed God was standing with you to help you do everything He's called you to do?

Because He is.

What if you believed that your past failures (both personally and as a leader) don't dictate your future?

They don't.

And what if you believed that you're going to win in life and leadership?

It would change everything.

You can.

Here's the thing...

Mindset is powerful.

As a man thinks, so is he.

And I've discovered that my best only comes when my state of mind is clear, courageous, and calm.

AKA when my mindset is good.

Therefore, believing you can...is more powerful than you could ever imagine.

People that embrace "can do" thinking are just different.

They walk and talk differently.

Not arrogantly...confidently.

And as pastors and church leaders our confidence comes from God...

And the calling He's placed on our lives.

Because He did...we can.

You can.

How about now? Am I getting through?

Are you feeling it at all?
