Wicked Tuna
I was recently watching a show called Wicked Tuna and it blew me away...
These fishermen are extremely passionate about catching fish!
They're tuna fishermen in the outer banks region off the coast of North Carolina.
Thing is...their passion makes perfect sense when you understand they get a few thousand and sometimes over ten-thousand dollars per Tuna they catch!
Dang...I'd be happy to catch one of those!
But there's another reason they're so pumped and passionate...
There's a limit on how many tons of Tuna can be caught per season.
So, all these boats are out there in the ocean spending their time and money and it's a race against time.
They can only catch so many fish before the season is over and they can't make any more money.
So they're dead serious about working as hard and fast as they can to catch fish.
Makes me feel a little uncomfortable about how casual we are in the church about our fishing expedition...
Because Jesus called us to fish for men!
And those tuna fishermen put us to shame with their passion, commitment, and work ethic.
Well I'm learning my lesson...and I'm going to challenge my church with their example.
Because our fishing has an eternal impact...
Want to ramp up "fishing" at your church?
It's led to thousands of visitors and hundreds of salvations.
And it's a great way to boost evangelism and outreach at your church.
Fish on the line,
Pastor Jake

Incredible right? It’s already been a HUGE blessing to hundreds of churches across the US. But there is a TON of misinformation, misunderstanding, and even scams out there so getting the right help is important. If you’d like more information please click here.
